The company said that this is the initial order for a new TEAL product in a growing product family for the solar power industry.
TEAL has delivered the initial units of a ruggedized grid-tied power supply for Energy Innovations’ Sunflower highly concentrated photovoltaic (HCPV) tracking system.
The grid-tied power supply is a device designed to provide electrical power from the grid to the tracking system of a solar array until the array begins producing power, at which point the power supply transitions off-line.
TEAL Electronics president Don Klein said that the company is excited to partner with Energy Innovations.
