The facility comprises three 400MW combined-cycle units, each including a GT26 gas turbine, a heat recovery steam generator, a steam turbine, and a generator supplied by Alstom.
Alstom designed, built and commissioned the power plant in 2006.
Under the new 20-year contract, Alstom will provide maintenance and operational support for all core equipment.
Alstom said it has a 20% share of the Spanish combined-cycle installed base, with more than 5GW of generation capacity and 12 GT26 gas turbines installed.
