Previously, Murray held a number of financial positions with the state of Michigan, completing his career there as state treasurer.
Mark’s and Gerry’s extensive backgrounds will provide the board with a wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership, said Anthony F. Earley Jr., DTE Energy chairman and chief executive officer. As we embark on new opportunities in the energy field, we look forward to their contributions.
Murray will initially serve on the board’s public responsibility committee. Murray is also a board member of Universal Forest Products Inc. Murray has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics, and industrial and labor relations, respectively, from Michigan State University.
Anderson holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering at University of Notre Dame. Anderson also holds a master of business administration degree and a master of public policy degree from the University of Michigan. He serves on The Henry Ford Board of Trustees.
