Chariag joined Schlumberger Limited in 1989 and held a several field operations, technical support and management positions in Angola, Tunisia, the UAE and Qatar. He consequently held global product line business development roles out of Houston, Texas and headed Schlumberger businesses in Egypt, East Africa and East Mediterranean. Most recently, Chariag he served as marketing vice president for Europe, Africa and the CIS before being appointed as president of Well Services. In his last role with Schlumberger, he was responsible for HS&E, security, global regulatory compliance, risk management and global citizenship. Chariag received Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas.
