Initially, the new station will fuel Orange County Transportation Authority’s (OCTA’s) fleet of 63 contracted fixed route compressed natural gas (CNG) buses with an estimated 500,000 gallons of natural gas annually.
Andrew Littlefair, Clean Energy’s president and CEO, said: We are pleased to begin working with OCTA for its contracted fixed route CNG vehicles, which serve part of the transit needs for the Orange County region surrounding our headquarters in Seal Beach, California. This contract extends on our fueling and service relationships with many major transit agencies throughout southern California.
