Rolls-Royce, which develops techniques and solutions to manage, improve and extend the lifetime of nuclear power plants, would accelerate its growth in nuclear services market with the latest acquisition.

PKMJ president Paul Tobin said, "We are delighted with today’s acquisition which provides us with an excellent platform from which to grow the comprehensive plant optimisation service that we already provide to our customers."

Rolls-Royce Nuclear president Lawrie Haynes stated that with the investment, the company could grow further its global civil nuclear business and provide services to deliver safe and efficient lifecycle operations.

Rolls-Royce supports a numerous important phases of the nuclear programme which includes providing valuable advice to governments and operators, supply chain management, and manufacturing and technical engineering support.
