Under the contract, the new company will provide engineering and fabrication service, and install a 16km pipe, two slug catchers and two cantilever structures for project.
The company has already begun project management and engineering in its offices in Ciudad del Carmen and Houston.
Subsea 7 Gulf of Mexico vice president Ian Cobban said the company has secured its first contract in Mexico.
"We look forward to delivering this key field development and in doing so further strengthening our relationship with Pemex," Cobban added.
Pipe laying activities will be conducted in the third quarter of 2013 with the Seven Borealis, while offshore operations are expected to commence in the first quareter of 2013.
