Demand Response programs reportedly offer electricity customers the chance to receive financial incentives for temporarily reducing their energy consumption, either in response to periods of high market prices or when electricity grid reliability is threatened due to high demand.
Suez Energy Resources’s strategic partners for its latest offering are EnergyConnect, a subsidiary of Microfield Group, and Enerwise, a Comverge group firm.
EnergyConnect, which reportedly is the largest full-service demand response provider in the mid-Atlantic and Midwest-based PJM wholesale market, will assist in providing demand response services to Suez’s customers in this market.
Enerwise will provide back office and technology expertise for Suez’s demand response services to participating customers in the US states of New York, New England and Texas.
