The company will supply 58 units of the V90-1.8MW turbine, which are scheduled to be delivered in mid-2012.
The contract includes delivery and commissioning of the turbines along with a 10-year service and maintenance agreement.
The company’s manufacturing facilities in Colorado, US, will produce all of the blades and nacelles for this power project.
According to Vestas, the V90-1.8MW turbine is designed to operate at sites with medium-wind conditions.
As of 31 December 2010, the company had supplied 1,021 wind turbines totaling 1,683MW of installed capacity for Canadian power projects.
