MHI will supply four M501GAC gas turbines and four generators for the 1,600MW power project, which is being built by Pocheon Power.
The company will manufacture and supply three of the gas turbines, while Doosan will manufacture the other gas turbine under license from MHI and other auxiliary equipment.
Mitsubishi Electric Corp will be responsible for the four generators, and all the components are slated for delivery between July and November 2012.
MHI has also signed a long-term maintenance service contract for the power plant as well as an agreement to acquire a 6.7% stake in Pocheon Power.
Under the 16-year service contract, the company will provide maintenance and management services for all four gas turbines and perform replacement and repair, when necessary, of parts that are exposed to very high temperatures.
The first and second trains of the power plant are scheduled for completion by the end of May and November 2014, respectively.
