The flagship Daejon project hosts an inferred resource of 65Mlbs at a grade of 320ppm eU3O8.
Stonehenge had earlier secured approvals for road building, drill site preparation and drilling on land parcel Daejon 6- 1, called the Sanji Permit.
The company will now initiate the construction of a 1.4km long road that has been designed and permitted in compliance with temporary mountain road specifications to access the drill sites.
"The road building phase of the project is a key part of the project and it is essential that a safe and effective access is established for resource development activities over several years," the company said in a statement.
Stonehenge was awarded approval for two drill sites at the site and has planned a two-stage drilling program.
The first stage of drilling will comprise of up to 5 diamond drill holes for 1,700m to confirm results of historical drilling and provide data for variography studies.
Stonehenge will also look to upgrade the uranium resource and additionally identify a maiden resource for Vanadium and Molybdenum in this phase.
Second stage of the drilling program is designed to deliver a high quality inferred resource in the upper 200m of the central Chubu area of the project.
