This unit will have a production capacity of 60,000 barrels per day. It is scheduled to be operational at the beginning of 2010. The investment for the new unit will be approximately E180 million.
Technip said that this project is part of the refinery expansion program. Following the installation of the new unit, the total capacity of the refinery is expected to exceed 170,000 barrels per day. Technip’s operations and engineering center in Rome, Italy, will execute this contract.
