Mr Machnizh will relocate to London, UK, continuing Paradigm’s ongoing strategy to distribute executive leadership team members close to its global customer base and further reflect the international nature of the company.
Mr Machnizh joined Paradigm in 2005 as COO. He succeeds John Gibson Jr, who remains in his role as CEO. Mr Machnizh will continue to report to Mr Gibson.
In this role, Mr Machnizh will develop and manage growth strategies for the Paradigm global footprint, lead new operational initiatives and institute efficiencies across the company worldwide. He has over 27 years experience in the energy industry, holding positions of increasing responsibility. He began his career with the seismic division of Schlumberger and served as vice president of operations for Landmark Graphics, a division of Halliburton and a developer of upstream software solutions.
