Hennig Deters will furthermore be responsible for technology/infrastructure. Since March 2009, he has led both technology/infrastructure as well as sales/marketing. Stefan Vogg will hold his new functions in addition to his current role as chief executive officer (CEO) of E.ON Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH.
This decision underlines the intention to coordinate the electricity and gas sales activities more strongly, in order to better meet market requirements and possibilities.
Stefan Vogg studied Law and then worked for the Bavarian Finance Ministry. Following the merger between VIAG AG and VEBA AG in 2000, he joined E.ON AG in Dusseldorf, his last role there being senior vice president corporate executives. Between 2006 and 2008 he was board member sales at E.ON Bayern AG and since September 2008 he is CEO of E.ON Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH.
