The news daily noted that Eesti Statoil has initiated a modernizing drive in Estonia, as part of which it will install 50 new fuel pumps at 17 station locations in 2008. The company is reported to operate over 47 service stations, five unmanned gas stations and 22 car washes in the Baltic country.
Eesti Statoil is reportedly investing EEK20 million to replace fuel pumps. By the end of 2009, a total of 78 pumps at 27 filling stations are expected to be replaced. The Norwegian energy firm is also building more sheltered spaces at diesel pump locations, according to the Baltic Business Daily.
