The total capacity of the wind turbines to be supplied by Siemens to Portland General Electric Company (PGE) is around 325MW. Phase-2 of the project is scheduled to become operational in late-2009, while the third phase is expected to come on line in late-2010.
Siemens’s scope of supply consists of delivery, installation and commissioning of the 141 wind turbines, including a five-year warranty and separate service and maintenance agreement.
