Forecourt Trader quoted Shell’s UK retail manager, Nick Adams, as saying that the company was pro-actively looking for new dealers and is willing to offer competitive deals.

Mr Adams said that Shell is also seeking to offer a more comprehensive food-to-go service at its gas stations and motorway services areas.

The company has reportedly launched a new-format forecourt at its Shell Folkstone retail unit, where one-third of the space has been set aside for food and drink.

The company will be putting more emphasis on the food and beverage aspect of the business and is in the process of rolling out new signage to motorway sites and fuel dealers, according to Forecourt Trader.
