Matrix Service’s scope includes structural steel, equipment, piping, ducting and mechanical erection.
Work will begin immediately and is scheduled to be completed by January of 2012.
The new boiler will be equipped with enhanced, selective non-catalytic reduction technology.
The new boiler will replace a similar unit that has been in service since 1962, and will operate in parallel with a second, existing boiler downstream of ConocoPhillips’ FCC unit.
Matrix Service provides engineering, construction and repair and maintenance services principally to the petroleum, petrochemical, power, bulk storage terminal, pipeline and industrial gas industries.
