The cables are to be used on new projects and maintenance of existing infrastructure. They come with solid insulation, in a range of sizes, all with aluminium or copper wires, polyethylene and PVC insulation and outer PVC sheaths. The cables are supplied in standard lengths and also bespoke lengths for special uses.
Tratos said it was awarded its first contract by E.ON in 2006, based on a combination of price, quality product and service. The company has worked with E.ON’s distribution business since 2003.
Tratos is a manufacturers of electrical, electronic and fibre optic cables with clients including electrical contracting and manufacturing organizations, regional electricity distribution and government departments.
