The well is being drilled based on an expanded network of 2D seismic profiles close to the company’s RBN-4 gas discovery.
E-1 Sagna is designed to provide an additional test of the regionally productive gas-bearing Sarmatian aged sandstone reservoirs.
The planned total depth of the well will be approximately 900m and it is expected to be completed by mid-September.
In Romania, Regal holds 100% and 50% interest in the Barlad and Suceava exploration blocks respectively.
