The assay results from the second RC drilling program included 35 meters at 3.15% copper equivalent (CuEq) with 2.84% copper, 0.87% zinc, 27 grams per ton silver from 18meter including 15 meter at 5% CuEq from 24 meter. It also included 35 meter at 2.51% CuEq with 1.41% copper, 4.14% zinc, 16 grams per ton from 25 meter, including 21meter at 3.51%CuEq from 39 meter.

It extended massive sulphide mineralization to 30 meters to the south by a single hole intersecting 28m at 1.96% CuEq.

The second drilling program has increased defined mineralization to further 65 meters to the south.

Commenting on the results, Cazaly Resources joint managing director Nathan McMahon remarked that the copper mineralization at the Mt Angelo North prospect furthers the validation of company’s exploration strategy.

"We don’t know at this stage if we have an economic ore body, however with each hole we drill gain a greater understanding of the nature of the copper mineralisation of the prospect and are increasingly confident that we are on the right track," added McMahon.

The drilling program was aimed at testing southern extensions of the deposit to confirm results from historic drilling, infill drilling and testing geophysical targets, according to the company.

Cazaly Resources, however, added that it is in an agreement with 3D Resources with an option to raise its stake to 75% in Halls Creek copper project.

Meanwhile, the company is currently outlining plans for diamond drilling to secure data for next phase of metallurgical test work.
