After completing the construction of the station at Maine Avenue and Godfrey Boulevard, the company along with Bangor Gas will supply natural gas to commercial, industrial and municipal customers on a year-round basis.
The station is expected to begin operations at the end of August 2013.
The CNG station will use compression technology, developed by OsComp Systems, to reduce the energy required to compress and transport natural gas.
Global CNG has established a multi-year agreement with Bangor Gas, to supply natural gas through its system in Bangor.
Global Partners has also established a partnership with OsComp to supply CNG to customers in New England through truck by utilising OsComp’s unique turnkey system, which contains specialised trailers and unloaders to create virtual natural gas pipeline system.
