Atomic Energy Organization of Iran head Fereidoon Abbasi said upon completing all the tests the first stage of the Bushehr nuclear power plant will surely become operational by the end of August.
He said that the plant will be inaugurated in November or December and that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has always been monitoring various stages of the project, reports Xinhua.
Upon commissioning of the first phase, the plant will be connected to the grid and can consequently generate 40% of its total power generation.
