Saipem has received transportation and installation contracts from Cardon IV, a 50:50 joint-venture between Eni and Repsol, for the development of the Perla EP Project in the Gulf of Venezuela.
Under the contract, Saipem’s scope of work includes transportation and installation of a hub platform and two satellites platforms, a 30in diameter, and 67km long offshore export pipeline.
The company will also install two 14in diameter clad infield flowlines and other infield cables, along with the related tie-in operations.
In another deal, Saipem has secured an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract in Brazil from Petrobras for the development of Sapinhoa Norte and Iracema Sul Project.
Under the contract, the company will develop the platforms in the Santos Basin Pre-Salt Region, about 300km off the coasts of the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo States.
Saipem’s scope of work will involve engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of two offshore pipelines, with related terminations (PLETs), to be installed in the Sapinhoà Norte and Iracema Sul fields in water depths of 2,200m.
