Eurus Energy Holdings is a joint venture between Toyota Tsusho and Tokyo Electric Power.
The 115MW solar plant planned in the northern part of the country is expected to commence construction in July 2013.
Eurus Energy Holdings spokesperson was quoted by Bloomberg as saying that the plant to be located in the Rokkasho village of Aomori prefecture is scheduled to begin operations in November 2015.
The spokesperson denied giving details pertaining to solar panels sourcing claiming that the company is currently amidst negotiations.
