PL128 awarded in licensing round 10-B in 1986 consists of blocks 6608/10 and 6608/11, while the drilling program for well 6608/11-8 relates to drilling of an appraisal well in the license.

Statoil will spud the well using Songa Trym drilling facility.

The company is the operator of the PL128 with an ownership interest of 63.95%, while other licensees, Petoro and Eni own 24.55% and 11.50% respectively.
