There's still time to register for the Central European Power Show 2007 that will take place in Warsaw, Poland from 17-19 October.
With its focus on unifying, supporting and furthering developments in Central and Eastern Europe’s energy markets, the Central European Power show has been established by the publishers of International Water Power & Dam Construction to bring together a diverse range of organisations and individuals.
The three-day event will allow professionals from all sectors of the power industry to meet and discover new ideas, make new connections, and most importantly advance the thinking for today’s fast moving market place.
The Polish power sector is currently the largest in Central and Eastern Europe. With the Polish government embracing its newly deregulated market, consumption of electrical power is expected to increase by 80% over the next 20 years.
The recently restructured energy market has opened the door to new players making Poland an exciting, evolving and relevant power landscape and ensuring that Warsaw is the ideal venue for the 2007 Central European Power Show.
Dedicated to the challenges facing power industry professionals in Europe today, the Central European Power show is the only exhibition committed to showcasing all facets of power generation. Nuclear, hydro, coal, oil, gas and renewable power will be represented in Poland’s premier exhibition and conference centre EXPO Warsaw International XXI.
Free workshops
The Central European Power Free Workshops will be at the heart of the show. Situated in Hall 3 this two day workshop will be a dynamic networking environment for investors, government officials and power industry professionals to discuss, strategise and implement the solutions and projects to drive the power generation transmission and distribution industry forward in Central and Eastern Europe.
Day one will be launched with an invitation only VIP/Press Inaugural opening which will include an opening speech from honorary patron Mr Piotr Grzegorz Wozniak, Minister of Economy for Poland. After the show has been officially opened there will be presentations in a workshop style from key decision makers in the power industry, who will share their perspectives and solutions to the many challenges that the power generation, transmission and distribution industry are faced with today.
Day two will give you the opportunity to hear from selected speakers from the international market place represented at the exhibition who will share their insights into market trends, challenges and strategies to drive the industry forward.
