Doray’s Managing Director, Mr Allan Kelly, said the December Quarter production result meant the Company remained on track to meet its recently increased 2015 financial year production guidance of 85,000-90,000 ounces.
"We’ve made a number of improvements at Andy Well that resulted in better than expected operating costs and margins for the first half of the 2015 financial year," said Mr Kelly.
"In the second half of the year, we benefit from the increased high-grade Stage 2 open pit Reserve, which will have a positive impact on the full year results."
Doray has recently completed the realignment of a section of the Great Northern Highway, allowing the commencement of mining of the high-grade Stage 2 open pit Probable Reserve, which was recently increased by 67% to 23,500 ounces @ 16.1g/t Au.
Mining of the Stage 2 open pit commences later this month and continues until July, with production commencing in March and continuing until September.
