The company said it identified the mineralization at various locations up to 3.5km in License 5336 as well as visible jumbo flake graphite.

The data for the airborne geophysical is being processed; however, Triton confirmed three large conductive responses within License 5336 area.

Average grade of rock chip samples from Ancuabe are said to exhibit 17.6% total graphitic carbon (TGC) with a maximum grade of 22.3% TGC.

Triton Minerals managing director and CEO Brad Boyle said: "These latest results are another positive step forward for Triton in our goal of producing a large quantity of high grade graphite concentrates, in a wide range of flake sizes."

The company plans to test the new anomalies at Ancuabe in exploration and drilling programs later this year.

Triton said it will focus more on development of its Nicanda Hill resource this year and exploration efforts will include the definition of jumbo-flake graphite at Ancuabe, which will complement the Nicanda Hill operation.
