Under the deal, the company will have to spend $6.9m for staged exploration by 1 May 2019.

The Key Lake property comprises five non-contiguous areas, which have 61 mineral claims covering around 18,392.7 hectares.

The properties are called as River Lake, Costigan Lake, Karpinka Lake, Millson Lake and Hobo Lake.

Fission 3.0 said that the deal allows the company to explore a highly prospective potion of the project.

Fission 3.0 COO and chief geologist Ross McElroy said: "Key Lake has the potential for near-surface, high-grade mineralization in basement rock.

"With a large land package, good road infrastructure and close proximity to the Key Lake mine and mill facility, this is a highly attractive opportunity."

The company has already identified two major deposits, and has developed a method to find shallow mineralization using airborne radiometrics, radon gas surveys, and geophysics techniques.

If the TSX Venture Exchange approves the transaction, Aldrin will issue 1,900,000 shares and pay $100,000 cash to Fission 3.0.
