Sulliden chairman and CEO Peter Tagliamonte said that an extensive regulatory process has been completed for the project and represents the most important step in bringing Shahuindo to production.

"We wish to acknowledge the local communities for their valuable input and support, as well as the Peruvian authorities for their expeditious review and approval," Tagliamonte added.

Currently in its permitting phase, the low capital and operating cost gold and silver mine project is scheduled to receive other related authorizations from the relevant Peruvian authorities for the mine construction.

Mining as per the Feasibility Study considers only 40% of the gold ounces from the total oxide mineral resource.
