The environmental permit has been approved by the Burkina Faso Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.

True Gold President & CEO Dwayne Melrose said, "Our goal is to have the operating permit and completed Karma Project Feasibility Study in hand by the end of the year."

The company is due to receive exploitation permit and final approvals prior to development and production at the deposits.

As part of the ongoing Feasibility Study, True Gold is carrying out optimization of mine engineering, site preparation, evaluating and pricing longer-lead capital cost items as well as finalizing capital and operating cost estimates.

True Gold’s flagship project, the Karma project comprises five deposits with a proposed central heap-leach processing facility, which is subjected to results of the ongoing feasibility study.
