A total of seven holes for 1,150m have been drilled by the Renaissance, focusing primarily on previously defined geochemical targets which includes the 1050 East prospect, where the company completed four holes totaling 757m.

The company has intersected extensive sulphide mineralisation zone in four holes drilled at 1050 East prospect.

The drill samples’ visual examination suggests mineralised zones comprising up to 50% pyrite and presence of chalcopyrite in higher sulphide zones.

Results of the dispatched samples’ multi-element assay analysis are expected within two weeks.

One hole in each of the Malachite, Malachite West and Wiso well prospects has also been completed by Renaissance.

For further drill testing later this year, Renaissance will prioritize targets within both the 1050 East area and proximate to the Roopena Fault zone, following completion of assessment of assay results.

The company has started pre-drilling exploration programme at the Eastern Eyre project area in 2012, which included an analysis of previous exploration data that comprised surface sampling, drill intersections and aeromagnetic surveys of the project area.
