With an efficiency of 18.85%, the module will reduce solar site area requirement and ensure shorter construction time-frame, thereby contributing to the reduction in overall cost of the project. This implies the installation will require less cabling and surfacing as well as lesser quantity of fixing clips.
Besides providing a five-year long warranty, the module promises 90% power for 10-year period with a mere 10% deficit for 20 years, the company reported.
Waaree Group chairman Hitesh Doshi said that the company is the first to launch a PV module in India and its new product sets a precedent for potential solar developments.
