The multi-million dollar contract covers provision of turbine maintenance support services for TB5000, TB5400 and TD4000 gas turbine models over the next five years.
Specific services include contract management services, preventive maintenance scheduling and execution, 24/7 technical support, unplanned breakdown support, as well as engine supply and overhaul services.
Wood Group GTS Oil, Gas and Industrial Services president Iain Murray said the contract represents a a very positive step in strengthening of the company’s long-term relationship with Talisman Sinopec Energy UK.
”We share their goal of a zero incident safety and environmental performance and look forward to helping optimise their maintenance strategy for this gas turbine fleet and further enhancing their overall asset performance,” Murray added.
Effective November 2013, the contract follows a ten year turbine fleet maintenance contract between the two companies, which concludes in 2013.
