Funing New Energy project is GCL-Poly’s new-type energy Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project, with PV modules installed above the water surface of aquatic agriculture which creates a three dimensional layout for dual purpose: the sub layer for aquatic agriculture and the top layer for PV power generation. The project system is designed for 25 years of service life, with 1150 power generation utilization hours per annum on average and generating capacity of 34.50 million KWh per annum on average. With 6 power generation units being put into operation gradually, the project will produce prominent social and economic benefits and become a benchmark project in China’s new energy industry.
Mr. Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of the Board of the Directors of GCL-Poly commented: "The grid-connected operation of Funing Fishing-Solar Complementary Photovoltaic Power Project marks a significant step for our development and construction of solar power stations. In virtue of developing more new-type energy projects with good economic and environmental protection benefits, we aim to realize dynamic integration of photovoltaic power generation and ecological environmental protection so as to boost the application of green energy in human life."
