The company said that the Clot lump graphite property is made up of five established claims and three claims under request for a total area of more than 297.4 ha.
The claims are likely to host a geological contact between paragneiss and granite.
The company is also planning to prepare a preliminary technical report to chalk out future work programs once the work is completed.
Saint Jean Carbon has also announced the appointment of professional Canadian geologist Dr. Christian Derosier to oversee the Clot project.
Saint Jean Carbon CEO Paul Ogilvie said: "We are looking forward to getting on the Clot property in the next few weeks as conditions permit.
"The spring program will include a grab sampling program, trenching, and a shallow drill program. The number of drill holes will be finalized once we have the opportunity to begin working the property and complete an initial assessment of the most appropriate target areas."
