The company posted a loss attributable to members of $176.1m, compared to $286.1m in the previous corresponding period.
Paladin said its results were weighed down by impairments of $327.9m, mostly due to a $323.6m write-down on its Queensland exploration assets.
Uranium spot price increased to $39.40/lb at the end of March 2015, an increase of 11% in the quarter. Spot price at end of December 2014 was $35.50/lb.
The company said average realised uranium sales prices declined 8% year-on-year to $34.8/lb.
The company maintained its previous guidance for full-year uranium production of between 5 million pounds and 5.2 million pounds of uranium oxide in fiscal 2015.
