Under the contract with Minergy Coal, CG will develop eight bays of 138kV, 60Hz, automatic identification system (AIS) switching substation to enable power transmission from 3X55MW coal fired thermal power projects to the Philippines grid.
Work under this contract is scheduled to be completed by September 2015.
Scope of work under CG’s contract with Venezuelan enterprise Wellington Turbines includes installation of 30MVA, 132kV mobile substations to allow electricity transmission for the floating type oil fired power plant, which is being developed 100kms from Caracas port.
The CG-built mobile substation will allow operators to supply power during emergency or planned outages.
