The company unveiled assays from the remaining twelve angled holes drilled on the R780E zone at its PLS property, host to the Triple R deposit, in Athabasca Basin region, Canada.
Of all the strongly mineralized twelve holes, eight holes returned large, high-grade intervals.
Fission said of exceptional note, hole PLS15-379 (line 540E) returned a key interval at shallow depth of 8.04% U3O8 over 19.5m in 3.82% U3O8 over 43.50m.
The company mineralized 50 of the 51 holes targeted on growth of the Triple R’s R780E zone, returning composite assayed intervals crossing a cut-off of more than 0.05% U3O8 over 0.5m.
It resulted in the extension of the entire footprint of the R780E zone to the east along strike, laterally north and south and vertically up and down-dip.
Fission Uranium president, COO, and chief geologist Ross McElroy said: "Just days away from the start of summer drilling, this final batch of assays from the winter program is a great reminder of just how fast our mineralized zones are continuing to expand.
"The Triple R’s deposit’s R780E zone already contains a very large, high-grade resource in the indicated category and its growth clearly highlights the potential for other, newer zones such as the R600W."
