The panels will be used at two hybrid solar PV and concentrated solar power (CSP) facilities in the northern part of the country.
As the sole PV supplier, Yingli is delivering more than 780,000 multicrystalline utility-scale YGE 72 cell solar panels to the projects, which will include 110MW of CSP capacity and 17.5 hours of thermal storage each.
Phase one delivery of modules have been completed recently, while the second phase of shipments would commence next month with the first plant anticipated to be operational by mid-2016.
Both power plants, which will be connected to the national utility grid, are estimated to reduce about 385,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.

Headquartered in Baoding, China, Yingli Green Energy has distributed over 13GW solar panels to global customers.
