Asinii Drilling was selected to complete approximately 1,500m of diamond drilling to test the first target while the ground geophysics program provided a higher definition of the sub soil structures for the company and assisted in spotting the initial drill holes on the first target.
Currently, the company is in the midst of initial diamond drill program which is scheduled to be complete approximately two to three weeks depending on the density of the bedrock for the project.
Additionally, Xmet has completed a non-brokered private placement of $300,000 with an institutional investor.
The funds will be used by the company to continue the advancement of the Blackflake Project and for working capital.
Till date, Xmet has completed three airborne electromagnetic surveys, VTEM and TDEM, and ground geophysics and discovered multiple electromagnetic conductors making the targets highly prospective for further exploration.
