Australian oil and gas marketing major Woodside has reported revenue of A$964 million for the third quarter of 2007, down 16% compared to A$1145 million reported in the prior year period.

The company reported third quarter oil and gas production of 17.6 million barrels of oil equivalent, up 4% on the previous quarter due to improved production from its Enfield oil project and onshore northwest shelf gas plant in western Australia.

Woodside, which approved the A$12 billion Pluto liquefied natural gas project in July, has several projects set to come on-stream in the fourth quarter, including the Neptune oil project in the Gulf of Mexico as well as the Stybarrow oilfield off the coast of western Australia.
