Under the contract, which is valued at $2.23m per year, the firm will be responsible for staffing, operating, and maintaining the township’s two groundwater treatment plants and its wastewater treatment facility, along with the associated systems.
The township’s water treatment system include several groundwater wells, a million gallon storage tank, and a distribution system serving residential, commercial and industrial users.
The system consist of two groundwater treatment plants with average daily flows of 1.9-million gallons per day (MGD) and 0.5MGD, respectively.
The contract also calls for Woodard & Curran to operate and maintain the township’s wastewater treatment system that is provided by a 3.4MGD facility with a 53-mile collection system and nine pump stations.
