Skytron Energy will focus increasingly on expanding its international activities in 2017. The company has already established a new subsidiary in the USA, Skytron Energy Corporation. Another subsidiary is planned in Japan for Q2/2017.

With these moves, Skytron Energy is strengthening its position on the important Japanese and American photovoltaics markets, in response to increasing demand from megawatt range PV operators. In addition to this, local subsidiaries offer more direct access to customers.

This growth strategy will be enhanced further via the establishment of a global partner network. With various service partners for the east coast of the USA, for south-west USA, for the Ukraine and for Thailand, first steps were already taken in this direction. In addition to this, skytron energy is currently assessing cooperation relationships with service partners in South Africa, Japan, India, Australia and in other locations in the USA. The establishment of a partner network will be realised by Q3/2017. This will enable skytron energy to ensure high quality technical support and trouble-free local commissioning.

With the internationalisation strategy, Francisco Baraona, new CEO of Skytron Energy, aims to bolster growth and align the company with the needs of its customers. Francisco Baraona most recently worked as Global Head of Enterprise IT Security at TAV SAd, and has extensive experience of internationalisation and digital business models. Based on our technological leadership, we are concentrating on rapid development of our product range and our service processes with a consistent focus on our customersae requirements,” explains Francisco Baraona.

With his many years of expertise in establishing new business models and organisational development in an international environment, Francisco Baraona is building an international growth and excellence strategy with international partners at skytron energy.
