The expanded drill permit, valid for five years, will enable the firm to drill in areas where it was unable to take up in its 2011 program.

Mineral Gulch project, located approximately 128km southeast of Burley, encompasses the historic Black Pine Mining District and surrounding exploration ground.

Western Pacific Resources Corp president Eric Saderholm expressed his gratitude towards Idaho Forest Service for guiding the company through the permitting process.

"This is an important step for us on the road to discovery on our flagship asset," added Saderholm.

The company intends to announce details of the drilling plans after reviewing the newly received geophysical and historic data.
