The order comprises of 30 units of the V100-2.6MW wind turbine, that will be installed at the Sjisjka wind park in a sub-mountainous area in the municipality of Gallivare in the northern parts of Sweden.
The expected annual energy production of 200GWh will provide electricity to nearly 43,000 Swedish households.
The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service agreement, Active Output Management (AOM) 5000.
Commissioning of the wind turbines is planned throughout the summer and autumn of 2012 with handover completed during the first part of the fourth quarter.
Sjiskja Vind is co-owned by wind developer O2 (25%), utility provider Jamtkraft (25%) and construction company Skanska Infrastructure Development (50%).
AOM 5000 is a new service product from Vestas that optimises wind power plant output and minimises customer risk by introducing an energy-based guarantee, ensuring that the turbines are fully operational when the wind is blowing as compared to traditional service offerings based on time.
