The turbines will be delivered and installed in Lukaszow and Modlikowice in the southwestern part of Poland, and the delivery is scheduled to be completed in 2011.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service agreement.

With a total installed capacity of 58MW and an estimated annual production of 165GWh, the Lukaszow and Modlikowice wind power plants will save the environment from an annual emission of more than 110,000 tons of CO2, Vestas said.
