The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the V90-3.0MW turbines, as well as a five-year service agreement.

Delivery is scheduled to start in the first half of 2011 and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2011.

With a total installed capacity of 54MW and an estimated production of 148,000MWh per year, the wind power plant will save the environment from more than 57,400 tons of CO2 emissions on an annual basis.

The wind farm is expected to generate enough electricity to power around 62,000 Italian households per year.
