The contract includes the delivery, installation and commissioning of 16 V112-3.3MW wind turbines at the plant and also has a five-year AOM4000 full scope agreement.

The wind turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2014 while the commissioning is likely to be in the second quarter of 2014.

Erciyas vice chairman of the board of directors Emre Erciyas said, "The Kavakli RES wind power plant is an exciting first for us and we are thrilled to start this adventure with Vestas’ support and knowledge."
